Our imaginary city

MY BUILDING


We had a lovely time doing this activity.
First chidren created their imaginary buildng from different materials, freely, using their creativity and imagination.
Then they described the building following a worksheet prepared for this purpose.
Finally they presented orally the city to rest of the class.

Honestly, they built great and original buildings.

We also played a game called Jigsaw Reading. This running dictation consists in having some papers with the past verbs lists spread around the class. Once made the groups of pupils (2 or 3), one pupil from each group goes to the list (which is hung on the wall), read the verb form to complete, comes back to their place and dictates (by spelling first) what he/she have read. The aim is to complete a worksheet with some blanks: either past or present forms.

FOREIGN LANGUAGES WEEK

Pupils from 5th grade are doing different activities related with the foreign languages week.
From the English point of view I have prepared this activity for them in order to get they used to different countries vocabulary as different ways of saying words they like.

GEOGRAPHY PROJECT

Students of 6th grade are doing an online activity about searching definitions in internet.
They have learnt ICT vocabulary and with the words they have already learnt about geography (ocean, river, country, town...) . They were searching information and doing a matching activity.
